Day 2: Shopian Apple Orchards
Drive south to Shopian — the apple capital of Kashmir. Visit a working apple orchard with a local farming family. In season, pick apples directly from the tree—an extraordinary farm-to-fork experience. Visit the Shopian apple mandi.
Day 3: Pulwama Rural Villages
Explore the rural landscape of Pulwama. Drive through walnut orchards and cherry farms. Visit a traditional Kashmiri village: meet local artisans creating kani shawls and walnut wood carvings. Taste fresh bread from a local bakery.
Day 4: Sopore Fruit Belt
Drive north to Sopore, another major fruit belt. Visit the Sopore fruit mandi, one of India's largest apple markets. Visit a walnut wood carving workshop and return to Srinagar for local shopping.
Day 5: Floating Market & Departure
Dawn visit to Dal Lake's floating vegetable market. Purchase fresh Kashmiri vegetables directly from shikara vendors. Transfer to Srinagar Airport for departure.
