Day 1-2: Srinagar to Sonamarg
Arrival in Srinagar and evening Shikara ride. Day 2: Drive to Sonamarg, the "Meadow of Gold". Visit Thajiwas Glacier and experience the lush green landscapes before the high-altitude transition.
Day 3: Zoji La Pass (3,528 m) to Drass
Cross the treacherous Zoji La Pass—the gateway to Ladakh. Witness the dramatic transition from green valleys to arid moonscapes. Visit the War Memorial in Drass, the 2nd coldest inhabited place on earth.
Day 4-6: Kargil, Suru Valley & Monasteries
Visit the Kargil War Memorial and Tiger Hill viewpoint. Day 5: Explore Mulbekh's 8th-century rock-carved Buddha. Day 6: Full day excursion to Suru Valley with glacier views of the Nun-Kun massif.
Day 7-9: Return to Srinagar & Departure
Return journey over Zoji La back to Srinagar. Day 8: Explore Mughal Gardens and artisan workshops in Srinagar. Day 9: Final dawn Shikara ride and departure.
